This is my personal dining table—well, technically, it was a gift to my wife for her 40th birthday. I wanted a wood that was truly one in a million, just like her. This is 40 will stand out in any home, featuring burled wood harvested from the Pacific Northwest’s rainforests. Big Leaf Maple Burl is prized for its endless, swirling patterns—no two angles ever look the same, so you’ll never get bored staring at it (unlike me, she still hasn’t). We paired it with our Twist Base, adding sharp geometry to balance the organic wildness of the burl.
