Whether it’s a dining table that makes takeout feel like a Michelin starred restaurant or a clock that attracts neighbors you didn’t even know you had (true story: one of our clients had to move his clock away from the window because people kept asking where he got it), our custom furniture we design with you has a way of stealing the spotlight.
Who are we?
Jerry walked away from a well-paying corporate job to make furniture. No rational human does that—you need passion bordering on obsession (and maybe a touch of sawdust in the brain). Luckily, Jerry has both. He gets just as excited as you do about building something awesome, and that energy spreads through the whole team. At Bucktown Built, we even pay 25% more than most shops because we believe happy woodworkers make happier furniture (science pending).
Our favorite moments? When clients visit with their children to see their piece in progress(please come visit)—the same children who will one day inherit the furniture we’re building now. Basically, we’re making heirlooms and future sibling arguments at the same time.
