CERTIFICATE OF LIFETIME WARRANTY
BUCKTOWN BUILT, LLC, an Illinois limited liability company (the “Company”), warrants the _________________ from the Statement product line (the “Product”) to the original retail purchaser (the “Owner”) for his, her or its lifetime (the “Warranty Period”) to be free from functional defects in material(s) and workmanship (the “Warranty”) subject to the terms and conditions set forth herein. The Company’s obligation under this warranty shall be limited to repair or replacement, at its option, of the identified faulty workmanship or material (subject to availability).
THIS WARRANTY IS DELIVERED THE OWNER IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES OF THE COMPANY, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED (INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE) AND INURES ONLY TO THE BENEFIT OF THE AFOREMENTIONED OWNER.
This Warranty is subject to the following terms, conditions and exclusions, all of which are an
integral part hereof.
l. Warranty Exclusions. The following exclusions and limitations apply to Company's Warranty obligations:
Condensation. It’s important to note that even though the wood is dried thoroughly, it is still a living organism that can breathe and absorb moisture. Depending on your office’s or home’s indoor settings, if the environment is too dry, the tabletop may produce small cracks. These cracks are perfectly normal and part of the process that the wood goes through. It’s important for customers to be aware of these realities, as they can have an impact on the lifespan and appearance of the product and the foregoing Warranty does not include or cover conditions resulting from condensation on, or expansion or contraction of the Product. To prevent the wood from drying out and cracking, we highly recommend using oil-based wood care products to moisturize the wood regularly. Additionally, it’s important to avoid placing handmade wooden furniture next to fireplaces or heating devices, as they can cause the wood to dry out and crack. By taking these steps, Owners can ensure that their custom Product from Bucktown Built, LLC will last for years to come.
Ordinary Wear and Tear. This Warranty does not cover ordinary wear and tear, or damage due to misuse or neglect, negligence or failure to provide reasonable maintenance of the Product (e.g., the regular moisturizing stated in the foregoing paragraph).
Alteration of Product. This Warranty shall be null and void if the Product has been modified or repaired by the Owner or in the event that any items are installed or repaired pursuant to a separate contract or agreement between the Owner and any party other than the Company.
Consequential Damages. In connection with this Warranty, the Company is not liable or responsible for inconvenience, loss of time, damage to contents and/or personal property effects or injury resulting from or caused by defective items.
e) Modification of Warranty. No representative of the Company other than Jerry Rodman has the authority to modify this Warranty or to make agreement with respect hereto.
f) Notice. The Company shall not be obligated to remedy any defects where otherwise required pursuant to this Warranty unless and until Owner notifies the Company in writing of the defect.
g) Not Assignable. This Warranty is not assignable and any attempted assignment shall render it null and void.
2. Notices. Any notices hereunder shall be required to be in writing sent either by Email or certified mail, return receipt requested, addressed to:

Chicago, Illinois 60639

a) Notice from Owner to Company: If a defect appears that the Owner thinks is covered by this Warranty, the Owner must write a letter describing it to the Company at the office address listed above or Email.
b) Response from the Company to the Owner: Upon receipt of the Owner’s written notice of defect, if the purportedly defective item is covered by and included within this Warranty, then the Company will repair or replace it at no charge to the Owner within a reasonable amount of time mutually agreed upon between the Owner and the Company (subject to delays caused by weather conditions, labor problems and/or material shortages). The corrective work will be performed by the Company or by subcontractors chosen by the Company. The Company has sole discretion to choose between repair and replacement. The foregoing actions shall constitute the Company’s sole and exclusive obligations under this Warranty.
Any notice mailed or emailed as aforesaid shall be deemed received on the date of delivery. Notice of changes of address for receipt of notices shall be sent in the manner set forth in this Paragraph 2.
