I don’t live in Chicago. How does it get to me?
Bucktown Built provides nationwide white glove Delivery and Setup. We have clients from Ireland to California. And yes that is an actual red carpet we rolled out. Our owner Jerry always offers to install every piece. Please buy something in winter and live in the south. Chicago is cold.
Who works with us?
What if I have a problem?
I’m Jerry, carpenter and owner of Bucktown Built. We are not a big box store. I personally meet with every client and work on every piece with our two employees to make sure you love your furniture as much as I loved building it. We have a lifetime guarantee, and every client has Jerry’s personal cell phone.

Why do we do what we do?
At Bucktown Built, we do this because we believe furniture should mean something. It should outlast trends, move through generations, and carry stories in every detail—where every scratch is a memory of a great dinner or a board game that went late into the night. You can buy a table at a Big Box Store, but we’re here to build pieces that become part of your family’s history—the kind you gather around, celebrate at, and argue over who gets when you’re gone.
Our favorite moments? When clients visit with their children to see their piece in progress and have them sign it. (please come visit)—the same children who will one day inherit the furniture we’re building now. Basically, we’re making heirlooms and future sibling arguments at the same time.
I could write something like, “found in luxury residences from Ireland to California and exclusive corporate offices,” but that’s just not me. Even though it’s true. My mom was especially proud when our work was featured in the Wolf/Sub-Zero/Cove Showroom.
I’m proud of our furniture too—but as great as it is, our customer service is even better. It’s amazing how much energy you have when you love what you do. Don’t believe me? Send a text.
