Claro Walnut originated in California’s Sacramento River Valley in the 1800s, when General John Bidwell, dissatisfied with the taste of local walnuts, grafted English Walnut onto the native species. The result is one of the rarest and most prized hardwoods in the world.

The wood displays rich chocolate and auburn heartwood, contrasted by striking white sapwood. This example incorporates black epoxy that complements the natural tones, and the table is paired with our black Tapered legs, which introduce a subtle angle to the design.

Customize
Each piece of wood is unique, so Bucktown Built allows clients to select a slab that fits their style. Don’t like epoxy? Choose a piece that doesn’t require it. Prefer less sapwood? We can accommodate that as well.

During the design phase, clients receive a 3D model of their selected slab to ensure there are no surprises.

Shipping
We offer nationwide white glove delivery and have served clients from Ireland to California.

Warranty & Durability
Every Bucktown Built product comes with a lifetime warranty against manufacturing defects. We use only kiln-dried, high-quality wood, paired with an industrial-grade spray finish that protects and preserves your table’s beauty for years to come.
