Crazy Jerry Idea

We are inlaying Bronze into cracks on a showroom table that will be on WGN. This gave me the idea we could try this with your table pending it fits your design.

I have an idea to take the Rust Patina and inlay it in the wood cracks. I think if you choose the lighter option, this could be really cool and bring together the two materials in a really unique way that I’ve never seen done before. Now that said, inlaying iron and then adding the patina could stain the wood, but I think we have a way to do it and prevent the stain. I’ve put it as an option down below. That said, you don’t have to pay if it doesn’t work. So what we would do is try it, if it works then you pay a small amount.

Option 1 - Rust Patina and Silver Maple

$11,200

Add Patina’d steel inlay to cracks(optional)

$500

Option 2 - Black Satin Steel and Silver Maple

$11, 100

Black epoxy fills

Option 3 - Gotham Stain and Rust Patina

$11,500
