The ideal size conference table to fit this room would be 18’ by 4’.

This slab is 30’7” long and is a single slab with continuous grain throughout. The slab has minimal epoxy(you mentioned you didn’t want that much epoxy) as there are very few cracks. This image is raw, so I place some finished examples below.

We could yield both the 8’ conference table and the 16’ or if you choose to go 18’.

There would be no seam in this option. It would be a single piece of wood and you wanted to impress your clients, this would be a showstopper.

Finished Sample - African Bibolo

This wood is sourced from Central Africa and looks very similar to Walnut. It has a chocolate brown color with hints of auburn. There are cracks and epoxy fills in the slab, but very minimal.

I just included this because it was cool. This is a 39’ Slab and we made 10 training desks for a client. I thought this was pretty neat how the slab ends like paper when it gets lifted up.

These are standard legs, but the special sauce is the top frame. We use a full frame for our tables as Solid Wood likes to flex and move over time. These cross bars help keep the table flat.

Fabrication

We do not use hand rubbed Oils on commercial grade furniture. We use a Spray Booth that enables us to provide the most durable product.

Each table has steel imported from Germany inlaid in the bottom along with stainless steel connection points for attaching the base to the top.

Our Owner personally inspects every piece to make sure it meets our standards.

Bucktown Built owns a Slab Flattener that is the size of a car. This makes us unique in that these are usually found in Sawmills. We own this equipment so that we control final thickness of a table rather than the Sawmill. This enables us to provide a much thicker product than most of our competitors.

Bucktown Built makes residential and commercial furniture. This differentiates us from other companies that only make large tables because we pride ourselves in achieving a higher attention to detail.

Our owner will be present onsite for your installation. Jerry will coordinate the installation of the table with movers, assemble the base and table, and provide care instructions to the staff.
