2/6 Update

The sawmill noticed that there is a significant crack in 1 slab. I don’t suggest using these slabs.

Solution

Change to original slabs below.

Final Rendering

Includes higher stretcher and tapered feet

Nakashima Style Trestle Base

  • Changed detail on Mortise and Tenon to solid pass-through.

  • Change substructure to be complete assembly from modular.

  • Changed edge detail to 1/8” roundover on top and bottom.

  • Changed leg detail from full taper to end taper.

  • Changed overall dimensions from 10’6” to 10’.

  • Decreased number of bowties from 6 to 4.

These cracks could be filled with traditional Bowties
